2010 KBR Cover Photo Contest

 

 

 

 

Attention photographers—KBR is hosting a photo competition! We are looking for beautiful photos for future covers of KBR.

Model Ideas...
•Photos should include young ladies, their family members, or friends. Preferably, shades of clothes should match KBR’s cover. We prefer candid poses; for example, walking away from the photographer or facing another direction. Be creative! Space around the model(s) is preferable.

•Images will be judged by creative angle, interesting content, well-lit environment, color agreement and contrast, and overall appeal of image.

•Photos must be portrait view (vertical), but if you have the same shot also in landscape format, you can submit both views. The set will count as one entree.

Details, Details...
•Images must be at least 150 dpi, or 1000x1400 pixels.

•Each family may submit up to five images (or sets), so work together and send your best shots!

•Include name and age of photographer, and names and ages of those in photo(s).

•Email submissions [or via CD] by May 1, 2010, as .jpg files. Please attach each photo separately. Prints which are at least 5”x8” are also acceptable.

•Winners will be announced in the summer 2010 issue. All submissions will be considered for use in future KBR projects.

Prizes...
•First place will receive four issues of KBR of winner’s choice, and a hardback copy of Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss.

•Second place will receive two issues of KBR.

•Third place will receive one issue of KBR.
